Aria Nicole Welsh 5lbs 9 oz, born December 23rd at 5:03 pm. Our 1st grandchild. Everyone is happy and healthy.

Bob! Congratulations! She's so pretty, and so is her name. Look at those pink cheeks in that last photo. What a wonderful way to start a new year.

Congratulations and having a grandchild is such fun!     We have 2 and they are what has helped keep me going!      I have a friend who has a granddaughter with the same Aria.                       Cheryl R

Thanks everyone...she is a cutie. She already has board shorts and a rash guard. I figure I need to wait at least a few years before I get her on a board though....... ;D.

Congratulations! You do fine work!!! Just a beautiful baby to brighten your life! Enjoy, I have 5 also, 4 girls and one boy!!! It's wonderful being a Grandparent!!!

We just spent a grand week with our three grandchildren.  What is so wonderful is being able to relax and have fun with them without all of the responsibilities for their long-term well-being.  When they climb up in your lap and say "I love you Grandma" it is the most powerful balm ever!

What a a cutie pie is lil' Aria Nicole!!  Congratulations on you contribution to the Gene Pool!!  Get 'em out on the water whilst they're young--makes 'em fearless in many aspects of their lives.  You'll have to get a baby backpack and take her for a spin real soon!!

Congratulations!!!!  She is absolutely beautiful.  I can almost smell that new baby smell.  Nothing like it in the world!  I know she is a lucky little girl being born into a family where she is obviously already adored.  Enjoy!

She is just the cutest little thing!  I want to just pick her up and snuggle!  Lyn, I agree - nothing like that new baby smell!

Congratulations, Grampa.  Try not to spoil her too much!    :D  Probably too late for that already.

When do you think you'll be able to get her out on the water with you?  I can see her on a little pink board!
