Wow! I can't believe how good the results were. I think you got your money/time's worth! Looks fantastic. ;D

I echo that sentiment! WOW!
Well worth the money and I'm totally impressed with how good the results are.

Wow! That's actually amazing... did it hurt?!
-
It did hurt quite a bit at times as I found myself pulling away throughout..
-
I'll bet... I haven't even been able to sleep on my scar side since the surgery 8 months ago. I have tattoos and I can't imagine what it must've felt like; I don't even like when my hairdresser touches the area when she's washing my hair!

Wow -- what an amazing difference. I'd say you got your money's worth even it did hurt for a while, it will look better forever.
Congratulations,
Wendy

I too shave my head and will be getting myself a big fat scar like that. What's the process?
-
Wow! Amazing what they can do! It looks great.

PS - GO YANKEES! ;D

Thanks Guys-
I had my surgery in 2004 when I was 35. I only started to shave my head for about two years now. When I was able to wear my hear longer 5 years ago the scar wasn't even an issue since my hair easily covered. When I was no longer to wear my hair that way the scar became much more visible the shorter I shaved my hair. The scar really bothered me so my wife and I agreed to pursue some sort of transplantation or something. My first instinct was to try a tattoo parlor. When I was telling the receptionist my cover up intentions she totally misunderstood me and told the artist in the back I wanted a tattoo on my head. The artist said they can tattoo a nice eagle on my head so i was like whoaaaa wait a minute let me explain. I love the Eagles but not that much! ;) Once they understood my needs they suggested a permanent make-up institute that also performed scar camouflage. One phone call, one hour of my time, a little more pain in my life and $250.00 later I never have to worry about that "bright" white scar anymore. They match up your hair color perfectly. They use some sort of a state of the art machine and apply the color with something simular to a pen. It's permanent! I understand these institutes are throughout the states but they mostly specialize in permanent make-up. Make sure they are certified! I even checked with my surgeon. The one I attended was the Beau Institute in Cherry Hill N.J. It was well worth the pain.

Have to say I'm relieved you decided against the Eagle.
Bet your wife is too! :D

I have seen many, many permanent makeup attempts. Yours is the best I have ever seen. Whoever worked on you was indeed a true artist. If I ever shave my head I am heading to Cherry Hill, NJ! Great pictures. I hope they have yours posted in their success stories.
Awesome!

I was lucky because the owner perfomed mine. The longest part was matching the color. I might get one more treatment to establish a new hair line behind the ear.

Cool. Keep us posted, please.
This will be very helpful information for others.
