Hi all
Back in April, 2007, I shared with everyone here a link for a brochure called "Brain Tumor and Fatigue", written by Nancy-Conn Levin and Dr. Peter Black (NS, Brigham Womans Boston).
Please note that the link in this previous thread no longer works:

If anyone needs reference to this brochure (which I highly recommend ALL AN'ers, regardless of treatment option should read) can now be found at:
http://www.brainsciencefoundation.org/Portals/0/Uploads/documents/public/bt_and_fatigue.pdf (http://www.brainsciencefoundation.org/Portals/0/Uploads/documents/public/bt_and_fatigue.pdf)
It looks like its been updated since my last posting... and hope it helps.

Thanks Pearly Whites!
Printed and on my coffee table for my family to read... re caregivers.
(The family who cannot understand why I do not want to stay up and watch a movie with them ... but would rather hit the hay and get shut eye instead ;) )

Thx so much, Phyl - I hadn't seen this before and it definitely explains some things that have been bothering me of late. Really great info!

I saw the earlier message in April mentioning Bark at MGH and Black at Brigham. Have any of you had experience or heard which doctor/place might be better to go for surgery?

Thank you for the link, I knew there was a connection with fatigue and removal of the tumor. Its like a ton of bricks hits you suddenly, your energy drains and your done, atleast I am. Gonna make it to the link now before I run out of energy :-*

Thank you for the link to the brochure. The fatigue has been overwhelming at times, and this information helps to explain why and that it is common. That alone is comforting and reassuring.

Thanks for the new link, Phyl. I am printing it out and will keep it readily available so I do not feel so guilty for succumbing to the fatigue.

Thanks Phyl, I printed it up as well. Sue
