Lois ~
The linked article contains some very relevant AN treatment information regarding the tumor fighting drug, Avastin®. Wide distribution is helpful. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for posting this link, Lois. What I find fascinating is that Avastin apparently restored hearing in many of the patients. Although the article didn't detail how long ago before receiving treatment the patients had lost their hearing, the inference was that it wasn't acute loss but chronic. That would seem to indicate that the hearing nerve may not be irreversibly damaged by an AN in some cases and the shrinking of the tumor was related to the restoration of hearing.
I'd been aware of anti-angiogenesis drugs, or those that inhibit the formation of new blood vessels caused by VEGF and other factors. I even tried some natural anti-angiogenesis supplements while I was in watch-and-wait, although these turned out to be completely ineffective. But what really gets my attention is the reversal of hearing loss effected by taking Avastin. Would love to learn more.
Best wishes,
Tumbleweed
