Title: "What distinguishes us from animals is our ability to accessorize"
Post by: Captain Deb on August 18, 2009, 01:25:22 pm
The quote is from Clairee in Steel Magnolias!  A few of our AN glam gals wanted to know where I got my little handbag that I carried to the gala.  Here is a link to an online store that carries them:

and another one

Enjoy!

Loved the bag, Capt'n Deb - can't wait to check out the link!!  I LOVE that movie - even had a Steel Magnolias Party a couple of years ago - complete with Blush and Bashful colors and Cup-a, Cup-a, Cup-a Cake!!!  MY favorite line is also from Clairee and she says, "Momma always said 'If you can't say something nice, come sit next to me!'"

Deb -

thanks so much for the link to the handbags.  Yours was beautiful and I was just thinking today that I forgot the name of the woman who makes them; remembered it was Mary something, but forgot the specifics.
