Hmm..did I read that Pirate bail money was not enough to balance the budget?

Sunday the city, and roads to the airports, were packed as the air show ended- tourists making the mass exodus.
You would think the city would want staff collecting trash, especially this Monday, as I imagine the beach and pathways, at the lake, would be a mess... not to mention a pirate ship that was abandoned at the port pier... as the captain became land-locked at the airport. I wonder what the city staff will do with the pirate ship docked there?
Yup I think the pirates scarred off the civil civil servants and sent them all into hiding.

No bail money raised... hence... the town shut down after MOST of our departures! :D

That student who needed to use the computer at the library should just head to the Apple store. That's where I went to check my e-mail. The hotel wifi was too expensive.

Thanks to all for the info. Although I live in a Chicago suburb, I had no idea this was going on. Sometimes it's weeks before I see or read the news ::)
Have to say though that saving 8.3 million dollars is nothing to sneeze at. Congrats to Richie Daley - maybe he should give Governator Arnold some tips ;)
