I had GK in July-slight side effects including a little dizziness. 6 month MRI showed a slight enlargement of the tumor, but with a black spot noticeable, so hopefully the GK worked.
However, in the last two weeks, a strange symptom has emerged. When I begin to exercise, the entire right side (AN side) of my face begins to twitch in about 20 different places. The twitching causes a contraction in my eye and lip as well, so they begin to look droopy. It all eventually subsides after a bit of time.
Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm wondering if I should stop the exercise for a while.
Thanks!

Hi Lorbis,
I'm closing in on my one-year post-GK anniversary (April 17th) and I still get occasional twitching on my AN side in the morning and during exercise. I just chalk it up to part of the healing process. Exercise is good. Don't stop. Be patient. I sometimes find facial stretching (exaggerated yawns/smiles, puffing cheeks, helps get through those temporary facial twitches.
Good luck in your recovery journey,
Petrone
