Title: Excess Saliva
Post by: ilsemor on November 12, 2009, 04:06:33 pm
Hello - I had my surgery four months ago, developed facial paralysis four days after surgery, i'm getting better and the lastest is that for the last week I have excessive saliva, I constantly have to be sucking in it?  Has anyone experienced this?  After, no tears now excessive saliva?
I'm so glad to be improving but really....I think I need a pipe sucking it out.

I can't wait to hear your response.

Thanks  :)

YES!  I have this!  I especially dislike that I slobber buckets sometimes when I am VERY tired - I have to put a hand towel on my pillow.  I think slobbering bugs me so much b/c I NEVER did that before surgery & didn't like it when others did - boy, God has a funny sense of humor!!  I don't noticed it as much in the day - just have to watch the corner of my mouth...
