Title: 6-Month MRI on Wednesday ...
Post by: msuscottie on October 23, 2006, 02:51:15 pm
Actually, I guess this would be my 8-month since my last surgery was Febuary 1st, or my 25-month since my first surgery was in October of 2004. Anyway, this is the one where we hope it's showing no growth or else I'll need to start thinking about Gamma after already having 2 surgeries. I think I've done my time. Leave me alone you G.D. tumor!

Yes, I'd feel the same way. I'll do what the doctors recommend. For instance, I didn't even know what "translab" was until I joined this forum a couple of months after my surgery. They knew what the best course for me was given the condition I was in. Different surgical approaches were not mentioned at all - there was no time for quibbling.. Yet, I'm fairly certain that "translab" was what I had.

 Best wishes on Wednesday Scott!!

I've gone from sad about having a tumor to just plain angry AT the tumor. I look at it as something trying to keep me down. I act like it doesn't want me to do anything that I want to do, so when I'm working out or something I'm alway thinking "take that you S.O.B."

I think I need a psych evaluation.

Hey, look at me! I'm an expert at venting!

Found a really interesting page on the ill-effects sugar has on our health: Our problems may have a dietary source. Worth looking at.

Don't blame you, Scottie, for being angry.  I get angry at IT too.  It has no right to exist in my head!  Who the #*#@ does it think it is, anyway?  Every morning when I wake up, since March 13, when I was finally told what I have....I think...Damn, it's still there!

And I know sugar is bad for me.  I know it. I know it.  I'm going to try - again - to ease off of the sugar.  It's just a darn good thing I never was interested in drugs, that's all I have to say. Or smoking. I've never smoked anything in my life.  Never. So, I guess my addiction is sugar and television.  I'm trying to get away from those two things..  slowly.  I've done pretty good, since I'm diabetic anyway...I must limit myself.  But I almost panic when I think I can't ever taste a cookie, or a piece of cake or chocolate ever again.  So I try to dole it out sparingly, but this time of year is hard.  The weather turns cooler, and I want to bake something!!  Thanks for the reminder Paul.  I think... ;)
