Has anyone tried using Lipo-Flavonoid for Tinnitus? I will not try any supplements without my doctors direction but am curious if this supplement has provided anyone relief.
Thanks for any feedback on this issue.

good luck on getting a doctor to recommend it. they won't. they might be generous and say it can't hurt.
think of it as a food supplement, and just try it without a doctor's recommendation.
It has to be lemon bioflavenoids...people at menieres.org have tried it and many have found it helpful for a number of symptoms, including tinnitus. Others found no difference.
I have noticed an odd thing...if I squeeze a fresh lemon and grate some peel into the juice, add sugar and make lemonade out of it, my tinnitus gets a bit less about 30 minutes after I drink it. Interesting, yes? But I can't be doing that all day.
But the banshees and jet engine washing machines are still in there.

There has never been any conclusive proof that Lipo-Flavonoid has any particular bearing on tinnitus. I've had tinnitus for nearly 24 years and I've tried everything. However, my neurotologist did recommend Lipo-Flavonoid for balance issues. Apparently, a heavy dose of Vitamin B coupled with Lemon has a positive affect on the inner ear. When I took it, I did see some improvement -- I think. You actually don't need a doctor's recommendation or prescription since it's OTC. Some people have said that a Vitamin B mega-vitamin works just as well.
