Is acoustic neuroma considered service connected?  I worked on the flight line during the Viet Nam war and have had tinnitus ever sense, I'm 70yrs and am in good health otherwise.

I have not seen this questions before, hopefully someone else has...

Have you been diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma? as far as I know, the "experts" have not found any connection to outside influence, but I'm willing to be informed otherwise.

If you are just talking about tinnitus, I have been told that exposure to loud noises over a period of time can result in ringing in the ear.

I just wanted to hop on and thank you for your service..

Thanks Maria, that was real nice of you.  Yes, I have been diagnosed with a small acostic neuroma and will see the ENT at the VA hospital in Birmingham Alabama next Wednesday, March 11th. I have had no symptoms yet, but had a mri for positional vertigo.
