Hi all,
Emotions are running strong. My mother-in-law just came from out of state to pick up my son Sean. Needless to say, very difficult to say goodbye. I feel like I'm riding a roller coaster. My daughter wants to know why I'm crying and she's clinging to my leg. She's 6 and I've been honest with her but she doesn't get the big picture. My husband will post everyone tomorrow when the surgery is over ( :

Jwh,
Best of luck to you, too. Hopefully we'll both be back online here soon comparing post-op notes.
Cheers,

Hi Jen,
I've been thinking about you today and send you my best wishes for tomorrow. I hope the second time around is the charm for you and they get the entire tumor and you get through this with no complications. I'm sure you will be in good hands and look forward to reading your husband's posts and welcoming you to postie-land once again. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Best wishes,
Wendy

Jen,
I agree that the last hours can be the hardest. Soon you will be on the other side of all this and will begin your recovery. And it IS a roller coaster. Good luck and take care; you will be fine.
Best,

it's common to be nervous this close to your big day, but being a second-timer, you probably already know that. That said, try to find some time to relax before tomorrow morning; it will calm your nerves.
Good luck and don't worry about your kids; they will be in good hands and you'll be back to being "mom" before you know it.
