Title: Miracle Cream
Post by: Mei Mei on May 11, 2012, 11:44:43 am
Dear ANers,
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and recently found out about this Miracle Cream at a Local Maryland meeting.    People with EDS don't get relief from the meds with cream or meds such as Voltaren Cream,  Lidocaine patches and Salonpas.   The only thing that gives a tad of relief is heat.

Prescription miracle cream:
Diclofenac-baclofen-cyclobenzaprine-gabapentin-lidocaine/magnesium (H+M)

Available from compounding pharmacies including Sheffield Pharmacy. 855-381-8466.

I'm going to give it a try and hope you'll let me know if it works for you.
Sincerely,
Mei Mei

Do you need a prescription for this?  I ask because my husband was prescribed baclofen last year for muscle spasms.  He had a terrible reaction to it and we ended up calling 911 one night because it relaxed his muscles so much it slowed his breathing to the point where he couldn't get enough oxygen.  I just caution that everyone check it their doctors before starting a new regimen.

Thank you for this warning!!!   I will tell the people on the Ehlers Danelos Syndrome website.    They haven't reported and adverse reactions.    I wish there were a way to tell if this would help or hurt you.

I'm not saying you or anyone else will have problems, I just think it is important that our docs know everything we are taking so thatyou can be aware of side effects etc.  My husbands situation was unique to him, but rather scary, and needless to say we are very cautious now.

I don't blame you.   We all should be cautious since we've already been through a lot by virtue of the fact that we are on this Forum.   Some days it feels like we are walking through a field of land mines with so many opinions and only us to decide which advice to proceed with.   I will certainly ask the advice of my doctors.
