Last Tuesday (6/21) I sent my BAHA back to Cochlear for repair AGAIN. One week after getting it back from repair in April the case cracked again. I called Cochlear this afternoon to check on the status of the repair and was told it wasn't even checked into the lab for repair and I should call back in a couple of days. They have had it since Wednesday morning (6/22) and now 3 days later it is still not being fixed. So much for Cochlear's customer service and 5 day return policy.

Call Cochlear - insist on talking to a manager.

Keith, I agree with Jan. That's why I suggested that you pull their chain. Ask to get the entire unit replaced and send the old one back to Sweden. They are very aware there is a problem, and they were anxious to send mine back for someone there to examine. The rep was anxious to please!

I just got an e-mail from Cochlear about my BAHA. I shipped it to them on Saturday and they got it Monday morning. They have programmed my new BAHA from the old one, and shipped it to me today. Pretty good service. Sure hope this one is bullet proof.

I gave a slight tug on their chain this morning and it will be shipping today. Lets hope this case lasts more then a week.
Good luck to you James with your replacement processor. Keep us up dated.

Just got home from the lake and a new BAHA was delivered while I was washing the boat! Great service.

I finally received a tracking number. I was told that it was shipped yesterday.

If it cracks again, ask for a new one!

So far I have had it for 15 min and all is ok. Only time will tell. If it does crack again I planned on asking them to replace it.

Last night I finally got a chance to look over my BAHA. Two things that were noticable were the battery had a tighter fin in the housing. The second one was the cover was easier to get on or off. Not to say it wasn't easy before the repair. It just slides on and off easier That might have been the issue with my previous cases by putting to much pressure on the sides. I am now able to use a cover that has a broken pronge.
Like James, so far I am a happy camper.

My new one also has a very tight fitting battery. It will not always come out with the magnet and I have to use a tweezer.
