Stinging nerve pain

(1/1)

Hi does anyone have this with their AN? I have had this at night even before treatment though its getting worse. MRI revealed nothing and neurosurgeon says not compressing any nerve he can see and my Cyberknife specialist said same. It wakes me up in early hours past 5 years now. I have recently wondered if its the shrinking pulling on nerves. Its not trigeminal neuralgia (the trigeminal nerve is fine on the MRI) its is not the facial nerve either. The pain is pretty bad but comes and goes and not in the day. I have been unable to sleep on that side for over 5 years now

I've dealt with something similar, a nagging, stinging pain that seemed to come out of nowhere, especially troubling at night. It wasn't until I had almost given up on finding a solution that I turned to physiotherapy. I went to Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre Surrey, where I met Riddhi. She was incredibly understanding and took the time to really investigate the source of my pain, beyond just the symptoms. Through a combination of targeted exercises, manual therapy, and some adjustments to my daily routine, we managed to significantly reduce the intensity and frequency of the stinging sensations. It wasn't an overnight fix, but her guidance and the personalized care plan made a huge difference.

Yes I am seeing a physio who specialises in the Watson technique as he feels its neck related and after two sessions its much improved. Since I posted this I am also wearing a night dental guard as I was told it could be TMJ also. Its been stressful as past 5 years stining eye pain in night, ear pain that disrupts my sleep. Nothing of interest on last MRI. I saw a neuro surgeon as well who went through all my MRIs as another opinion- said no compression of nerves. Saw opthalmologist he say eyes are fine, camera down ear- nothing....mystery. Nothing in day- its lying down on that side though. I would blame it on radiotherapy except that stabbing ear pain for two years led to AN discovery on MRI.
