Title: Nerve of the tympanum
Post by: Palace on June 17, 2013, 08:08:00 pm
Dr. Edward Podolsky relates the value of music with our meals.  We need all the calm we can find with tinnitus, swallowing problems and facial numbness.  (not to mention the metal taste I experienced before treatment)  According to Dr. Podolsky beautiful music played while we eat aids digestion, actually stimulating the digestive processes and helping them to function better.    The principal nerve of the tympanum (middle ear) ends in the center of the tongue and connects with the brain, reacting alike to sensations of taste and sound.  It is no accident that in ancient cultures court musicians played while the nobility ate.  These days we need to treat ourselves to a restaurant that has beautiful music such as violin, guitar, or harp melodies or put on soft like music at home during supper.  This helps our bodily functions to run more smoothly, reacting favorably on glands and nerves.

Thanks for reading and making your life more calm during our trying-times of stress and AN issues.
