Title: Insurance options question
Post by: adamsse on October 04, 2013, 06:46:36 pm
I've been recently diagnosed with AN and may be a candidate for Middle Fossa surgery because the tumor is small (3mm).  I live in Los Angeles and it sounds like House Clinic is the place to go, but I've heard that Kaiser does not make referrals to House Clinic.

The benefits enrollment period for the company I work for is coming open.  Does anyone have any recommended insurance companies that I may want to consider?  Also, I'm still serving in the Navy reserve and have access to add Tricare reserve select.

There are literally thousands of health insurance companies out there. I'm a 35 year veteran of the insurance industry and even I can't answer that question.

Besides, you might be limited to the insurance companies that your employer offers. If you are given a choice of plans you'll have to study them carefully and compare the coverages before you makes a decision.

Also, I'm still serving in the Navy reserve and have access to add Tricare reserve select.

Again, you'll have to study the coverage to determine if Tricare is appropriate.
