So lets run a marathon?
I almost don’t believe it myself....
Many of us on this list have some or all of the problems listed
above and I am sure know full well the daily challenges that they bring.
One of your fellow countrymen (country person?) has all of the above
and quite a few problems more besides. (she did have cancer in the teens?)
In May she will be attempting to run a 12mile marathon in order to raise
money to assist with the search for cures for NF2.
No Hearing, balance problems and double vision...12miles...
(I wish her well and while I will make a contribution – I just hope that she
doesn’t do herself any serious harm?)
Check out diverbeck.blogspot.com
If you do feel you would want to support her – please do
but more than anything consider the following :
Firstly tell your friends, your family, your workmates even the papers?
Basically these things are about profile – I think someone with this level
of selfless determination should be supported – I hope you agree
Secondly not for a moment would I seek to diminish the problems we all face
-I live with most of them 24-7 myself – it’s seldom easy.
But I do consider that maybe if someone that wrecked, can and will, still,
make a contribution – then perhaps I should too ?
just a thought
Best Regards

It is always good to read what you have written. You are a truly amazing person.

I thought the quiet life might suit all - or any of us
apparently not
- I still dont believe one so challanged physically
would even try such a thing ?
anyone else fancy 12 miles for charity ?
Best Regards
