Good Morning,
After a month of waiting since I went to the ER and was diagnosed through 2 CT scans and 1 MRI with an AN, I finally saw the neurosurgeon that my family doctor referred me to.
He told me he looked at the CD provided to me during my ER visit of the MRI and was not sure whether I have an AN or a "juggler/jugulare." So now he is referring me to a more specialized neurosurgeon since he is just a general one.
Has anyone had this experience? Can anyone give me more information on what the "jugulare" is?
It worries me a bit because he also said it's rare and only see it once every ten years.
Thank you so much!

Remind me if you had your MRI with contrast???

Yes, I did MRI wo/w contrast.
According to the report "partially cystic and partially enhancing 3.2 cm left pontomedullary cistern mass with small extension in the jugular foramen most likely represents a jugular foramen schwannoma, liekly type A. 1.8 cm pineal cyst may be a large simple pineal cyst."

I note that the term vestibular schwannoma does not appear in the radiologists report.
