Title: Music for Sleep Therapy
Post by: CattAN on July 29, 2015, 09:15:34 am
A few weeks ago I posted about my sleepless nights caused by my new friend Tinnitus. In my research for treatment options, I came across several articles that mentioned music therapy to block out Tinnitus.  At first I was skeptical, then I decided to give it a try.  The good news is that it works!  The sound of ocean waves lulled me to uninterrupted sleep, finally something natural and easily available works to alleviate one of my AN symptoms.  Although any white noise will work, the album below worked like a charm:

Listen to One Hour Hawaii Ocean Waves for Massage by Natural White Noise on Apple Music.

Most excellent!

I have always used a powerful oscillating stand fan along with my "in-room"  air conditioner, even before my diagnosis, for white noise to block out unwanted sounds.

Some people I know also sleep with the new "OASIS" by Neurmonics.

Also, I just started taking Elavil to replace Xanax on a daily basis.
