Post by: mikjul1 on May 17, 2009, 11:26:51 am
I called my doctors office yesturday and asked if they billed my insurance for my divino yet and they told me that the hospital does that so I called the hospital and the divino was part of the billing of the surgery it was a $9,700 bill I had to pay my dedutible of $ 250.00 man I was happy. So the hospital GBMC medical center ordered everything I thought the surgery was more then that and that was with the sound processor.  ;D

Great news, Mike.

The hospital where I had my BAHA surgery included my Divino in my bill also - and because I had already met my $400 deductible for an MRI - I paid absolutely nothing  ;D

The $9,700 which I'm assuming is only for the Divino and the hospital is very inexpensive (the Divino alone is about $4,000).  My surgery - which was hospital, doctor, and Divino (no anesthesiologist) was over $46,000 before my insurance company discounted it :o

You'll still be getting bills from the doctor and the anesthesiologist won't you?

IMO you definitely have a bill from the doc and one from the anesthesiologist on the way.

But I could be wrong.  I've been wrong once or twice in my life  ;)  :D
