Title: Twitches in Nose, Mouth, Chin and Cheek.........HELP!

well I've recovered from my eye surgery but now my face is one big TWITCH.
I'm very worried because I am 3 years post op in July. What could this be?

How can you tell the difference between hemifacial spasms and muscle getting more nerve recovery causing the spasms?
It is really driving me crazy. It started about 3 days ago and it is almost nonstop.

OK Angie, you do not mention twitches in your eye, which I would think is a positive sign it is not HFS. What kind of movement is it? My HFS was always like a thump while nerve regeneration has felt more like a rolling motion.

If it keeps up, maybe you need to see a neurologist and schedule an EMG.

I am praying that ti is nerve recovery.

I just past 6yrs since my surgery.   To this date I still have alot of facial spasms.   It moves all across my AN side of the face and I agree it is very unnerving at times.   I have given up all hope that this and other side effects will ever resolve themselves.
