Here is a question that I don't see any past references to. I had my surgery 8 months ago. I had a pretty difficult recovery--like most of us have. One of the things that I was fortunate not to have experienced was any facial weakness or paralysis. However, in the past few days I have started having numbness and pain on the side of my face where my surgery was. I'm not noticing any paralysis, but has anyone else ever experienced that so many months post-operation?
This forum has been a godsend to me! Thanks again for answering any questions!

Hi Jill: People here have had facial pain post op related to trigeminal neuralgia. The pain is excrutiating (I was told by a neurologist). Maybe search trigeminal neuralgia & see if it relates to you. Hope this helps. Always good thoughts, Nancy
