Hi.
Yes. I have lots of tearing. It is because the facial nerve regulates this in your eyes.

Is the tearing a good sign?

It could be a good sign, depending on why your eye is tearing. It may be a sign of healing or it may be a reaction to an increased level of dryness in your eye. I think it's worth a trip to your eye doctor to have it checked out.

I'm 7.5 months post Translab and in the last couple of weeks my eye has been releasing small streams of tears.  I am hopeful that this is the first sign that my facial nerve is starting to heal.  Please, please, please.

Be well,
Michelle

Is it happening when you eat? I have synkenesis, my eye tears up while my mouth is dry. The tastier/spicier the food the worse it gets. I have to have a napkin for my eye if I'm really enjoying a meal.... :'(
