Never, ever do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

Option A, step in and do it myself.

Option B, wait for Keri to do it tomorrow.

It's August. I choose B.  ;D

Hi Keri, things do get hecktic, and you have been doing fantastic with the weekly updates.

We choose option A ;)

Ken (Mandy’s husband) you and Mandy will be in our thoughts and prayers Tuesday for an uncomplicated and successful surgery.

Lois may your visit to the TOG reveal a clean MRI on Thursday.

Tenai(Jo) hope you enjoy the BAHA demo on Tuesday, and that it answers all your questions.

JB we hope you have an excellent day Monday as you return to work.

We will keep you all in our thoughts,

Rich & Scarlett

Rich & Scarlett,

Although this word absolutely fits me to a "T," i am so glad you decided to choose option A!
Keri has been doing a wonderful job - THANKS!  [And a little break this week is ok,too!]  ;D

Ken & Miranda - more thoughts and prayers coming your way for an uneventful surgery.  (Remember the FTD don't count rule.)
Lois - best wishes in the TOG - may all be clear!
Jo - will be anxious to hear about the BAHA demo!  More information will help you make an informed decision.
And last but not least - dear JB - welcome back to the working world!  You will do great!

Sincerely,
Sue

Great adjective this week, Keri - one that's near and dear to my heart   :D

Many thanks to Rich & Scarlett for picking up this topic and moving it forward.

Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery, Ken.

Good luck in the TOG Lois.

I think you'll love the BAHA demo, Jo  ;D

Welcome back to the working world, JB.  It's not always fun, but it pays the bills  ;)

Thanks everyone and thanks to Rich and Scarlett for coming through on posting.

I had a crazy, challenging week. I had to go down to south Texas to try to care for my aunt who is showing signs of Alzheimers. She has no children; no living relatives (that aren't really old) except me. She helped raise me, so I need to and want to try to help her. But it's a challenge because of the distance and I have an autistic daughter to leave (my husband's capable; it's just easier with two). I was able to help my aunt some, but probably need to go down again to figure out legal matters (power of attorney etc).  I got back in at 3:00am (flight delayed) Saturday morning. Then Saturday night, a friend gave me a concert ticket to see Paul McCartney! (first big concert post op)! The sound was great, and loud, but not too loud so I didn't notice the SSD too much. Great show. But I got home at 1:30am and then had to get up Sunday morning and play two church services. But Sunday evening I was too wiped out. I usually try to read a bit about those having surgery before I do the updates. I've hardly been on the forum in a week (limited internet access where I was) so I don't know too much of what's going on. I need to catch up on my reading!

Normally I do the updates between midnight and 1:00am. I think Rich and Scarlett (or maybe just Rich) gets up at 1:00am because he's usually the first to comment. So, it was great to see the updates this morning!

I too wish Ken and Lois and Jo all the best! My prayers are with you all.

I'm glad to be back and look forward to seeing how everyone is on here.

Keri, the procrastinator!

Rich ~

Please accept my thanks for stepping up when Keri was unable to post this week's AN events.

Keri ~  Your yeoman's work with posting the weekly updates has been much appreciated.  That you were unable to complete the task for one week is quite understandable.

My best to Ken as he undergoes his surgery on Tuesday.  I trust that JO's BAHA evaluation and demo will prove impressive and helpful.  I'm sure that Lois' MRI will be clear and I'm confident that JB will handle the dreaded back-to-work experience with her usual aplomb.  :)

Keri, I’m so jealous! Paul McCartney!! No doubt it was a fabulous concert!
You are right; Rich leaves for work at 1 AM Monday mornings. Posting the weekly updates is usually done right before heading out. I’m sorry to hear your aunt is showing signs of Alzheimer’s. My mother is also suffering from this heartbreaking disease.

Nancy, I’m doing okay…thanks for asking. Still dealing with daily headaches and finally asked both Dr. Barker and Dr. Lee for referrals for a specialist, but have yet to hear back from either of them! I’ve been having cramping in the back of my head (and once on the entire right side of my head, front and back) and my physical therapist seems to think I may need to see a PT just for my neck muscles more often.

Phyl, I agree with you… Rich is “speshal”! :-*

Wishing everyone (even those just having a “normal” week) well.

Scarlett
