Wearable Vests for Balance

(1/1)

bjhk:
Tuesday our PT dept is asking us to try the vests for balance. They are a bit heavy; have weights in them, supposedly they help with balance and once you are "cured"
you don't have to wear it anymore

Has anyone tried the Vest?

donjehle:
I have never heard of them, bjhk!  I do wonder if anyone on the ANA forums has tried them.

If not, you may be our pioneer with them!  Let us know how it goes.

bjhk:
I tried the wearable best for  PT sessions;  they are heavy
My PT said she saw no improvement for me, but some of her other patients are having good luck

donjehle:
This answered my question on the other thread.  Thank you!

Did you actually end up wearing it? Was it very difficult to get used to? My doctor has also recommended that I give it a try, but I'm honestly not sure if it will make a significant difference. At the moment, I'm buried in my dissertation and spending most of my time in front of the computer. Thankfully, the team at https://ukwritings.com/write-my-dissertation is helping me out, but there’s still a lot to be done. Balancing all these tasks has been a challenge, and I’m wondering if adding one more thing, like this recommendation, is worth it or if it will just add to my stress
