Radha, are you an acoustic neuroma patient? Generally, if anyone on this site has headaches, it is a result of our AN treatment. You can find out "what causes " hemicrania continua by researching it on the internet--we are a support group for acoustic neuroma patients.

no i am not an acoustic neroma patient but just wanted any personal feedback about hemicrania, i have done alot of research, but wanted to hear about personal experiences and didnt know where to go for help, i cant really find what causes these kind of headaches and ear pain and carotid artery pain in neck doesnt seem to the norm so was hoping for some input from those who get hemicrania continua, thanks for any help

Rahda,
Check out http://www.clusterheadaches.com/ a support group for headache sufferers--mostly clusters, which are related to hemicrania continua. Also a woman with the screenic "Janet" has HC, if you find a post of hers click on the little IM button underneath her name and you can send her a personal message and maybe start a dialog with her. If you type hemicrania continua into the search box you will find a theread about her experience, too.
