ashok -

I just replied to your PM a little while ago.

Forgot to say, however, that I will definitely pray for your son.

I believe in the power of prayer.

Best,

Jan

I had surgery performed by Dr Friedman and Dr Giannotta at USC in March.
I have yet to post my complete journey, but will soon to share with others as I used the web site and forum to gather information for my situation.

I had a 2cm AN removed with a right side retrosigmoid.

You are in the right place.  They did an amazing job.

Saved normal hearing, no facial issues, headaches lasted about 3 weeks.

Now 7 weeks out I am as good as I ever expected post surgery.  Vestibular rehab has returned most of my balance to near normal, still working with the exercises to continue the progress.

Dr Friedman was and is always available for questions.

Good luck, wishing your son the best possible outcome.
