Title: Anyone watch House tonight?
Post by: Amplified2000 on January 11, 2010, 11:00:35 pm
Was an interesting episode, one of the early diagnosis was an Acoustic Neuroma.. they even did the Auditory Brainstem Response test on the guy.

I thought it was interesting to see AN mentioned on prime-time TV.

Was it a rerun? I didn't see it last night, but I have seen one, I think with Ron Livingston as the guest patient, where an AN is a possibility during the diagnosing.

Sounds like a very interesting episode; sorry I missed it.

I haven't watched TV in months; too addicted to my computer  ;)  :D

I watched House too and was elated to hear "acoustic neuroma" as the patients's initial diagnosis.  It was a good episode but I would have loved to hear House's treatment plan for an AN!

What did the diagnosis end up being?  Know of a couple of things which present like an AN, but curious to know what it was...

The final diagnosis was something called Hughes-Stovin, and autoimmune disorder.
