Title: Ears feel full
Post by: Patch on September 08, 2007, 07:05:18 pm
I had radiation treatment in July, 6 low doses. Today, when I woke up, my ear fills like its full and needs popped. I notice that when people talk, its sounds like the are talking to me in a can. HAs anyone experienced this and what can I expect. Is there anything I need to do.

Thanks

Sounds like you may need a steroid treatment...

Sometimes after radiation, it causes your body to retain fluids around the radiation site.  You'll feel much better after the treatment...I wouldn't stress too much about it being permanent.

No sweat   :)

In the meantime try some over-the-counter anti-inflammatory meds until you go see the Doc...you can see your Primary Care provider for the steroids.
