I had surgery in 6/2011, a skull infection in 1/2013, regrowth and then GK in 7/2013. A long hall but almost four years after diagnosis I feel myself again :) My face was totally paralyzed for 51 weeks after surgery then I slowly regained movement, I was able to smile if I thought about it and made myself smile. Last week, almost 4 years since surgery I noticed my smile is partially on its own, just happens when I move the other side of my mouth!!!!!! so hang in there, my eye still doesn't blink, I have a gold weight and a stitch in it, which is so helpful, no longer need hourly eye drops, don't know the last time I used them :) I only check in the forum every few months, please email if you'd like at nailorvt@myfairpoint.net, just put acoustic neuroma in the Memo.
