I am so full of hope! Tonight the inner side of my eyebrow moved!
This is the most exciting thing that's happened in 2 years :)
Hugs to everyone. If I was a drinker I'd have the champagne popped and drinking it straight out of the bottle - through a straw of course :D
Lovenhugs

Great news! You had the 12/7 jump correct. Is that supposed to make your eyebrow move? I thought it was just a smile thing. The reason I ask is because I had the same surgery and this is something maybe to look forward too

Best Wishes,
You are so right about me disappearing. I'm back again but not as the old me. I'll explain in another post though and then get back to seeing who I can help and make laugh.
Love to everyone

thisisajourney - congratulations on being post-op! We have a wonderful group here don't we? I'm looking forward to getting to know you as we go on this wonderful roller coaster ride called life.
Skipg - I got on the trike before my last hip replacement and almost fell off with the dizziness (as a pillion) so hubby just rides it now. What bike/bikes do you ride?
Millie - sorry to say that my face has not moved since that first twinge. I have until February for the 12 months 12/7 nerve graft anniversary and I'm still hopefull but I've not seen any movement.
Please don't think that it will not happen to you though because a LOT of people have great results!
Cheers to all of us. We're still here and kicking along nicely.

I have a '07 Harley Ultra for trips, and a 99 Heritage. When the lights go out I am susceptible to a stumble or two so I always ride with my eyes open and try not to ride at night. In the dark on two wheels I just dont feel secure, in a 4 wheeler, no problem. Are you able to ride on the back without feeling queezy or disoriented. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down.

Ours is a converted 1300 Sporty. It does hubby fine with having so much metal in his leg and forward controls.
I can't get on it and about to hand my driver's licence in. I was optimistic for awhile but I'm not dumb LOL I don't mind the way I am anymore.
Accepting it was hard and has taken me the whole 2 years and a bit to get it through my thick head that a LOT of changes had to be made.
I'd rather be upright and not be left on the ground by getting on the bike again. Even with a full-face helmet on, my eye was too dry to handle it as well.
Stay upright my friend and would love to share your journey on bike or not in another part of the forum like AN Community
Stay well.
