Have any of you had a nerve block  for diagnosis or treatment of headache pain?

I had four over a 2 month period, unfortunately only the first one worked. It lasted for about 2 1/2 days. The first one eliminated all the pain except aslight headache on the AN side. It just didn't last. It is sure worth trying.

Thanks!

I had corticosteroid shots in my head and neck every 4 weeks for several months as a temporary relief until systemic meds could kick in. And they were very temporary and in my book, not worth the 8 hr car ride and the almost-passing-out pain. I actually did black out for a minute or two the first time.  I'd had these brainwrecks almost daily for 3 years, a few more weeks weren't going to make any difference. Also billed my ins co almost $1000 for them. Not worth it in my book, at least for me.
