Title: 12 years later..
Post by: Tod on February 11, 2022, 07:10:26 am
Hi everybody! It's been awhile (years) since I have been around, but I received a couple of PMs that brought me back to the site, and tomorrow is the 12th anniversary of my surgery starting, and Sunday night the 12th anniversary of my surgery ending. I just want to say that all is well and my MRI last spring showed no new growth and now I am moving to a 3 year cycle for MRIs.

Life is good. There are almost always challenges after surgery or even after radiation. All you can do is just keep making relentless forward movement, acknowledging and celebrating even the smallest improvements because the big ones are made of a bunch little ones.

I wish you each the best in your journeys and a life of continuous improvement and well-being.

Welcome back, Tod, to the forums, and thank you for the update!

It is always wonderful to hear the success stories and those, like you, who have persevered through the difficult challenges and can look back to see how far you have come.

Thank you for sharing again!  And happy 12th anniversary!

Hi Tod,
Good to hear you are still progressing and moving forward! That’s all we can do right ?!

I remember reading about your journey and reading your posts. I had my 10 year anniversary last Oct 27-31. I had 2 operations 4 days apart. But all is good and I too keep plugging along. Got my BAHA in 2014.

Good luck to you and all of us AN Warriors.

Jane

Thank you, Jane, for also sharing how well you are doing at your 10 year anniversary!  Reading what y'all post is very encouraging for those of us who are new on the journey.  I love to hear how you are still progressing.

Best wishes!
