Jen is back online ( :
« on: January 30, 2009, 06:46:37 pm »
Hi everyone,
I wanted to thank you sooo much for your kind support prior to my surgery and after.  You've been such a wonderful addition to my life.
I have more energy today and feeling a little better each day.  It's only been 4 days post op but I'm doing a lot better this time around.  I have the tiredness and aches and pains associated with surgery.  I have my parents at my house so I'm really taking it easy and have a lot of love and support.
Thanks again,
Jennifer

Congratulations and welcome back.

Your nerves had me on edge pre-surgery - the way you described your anxiety made it feel so real for me.  I am so glad you are now on the other side and wish you a speedy recovery.

Welcome back, Jen!

Well, that wasn't so bad, was it?  :)  Seriously, I'm pleased to learn that we've been a help to you as you underwent surgery (again).  From this point on, I think you pretty much know what to do.  :D

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
