trigeminal schwannoma facial muscles
« on: October 14, 2014, 08:33:05 am »
Hello all,

Five years ago I had surgery to remove a trigeminal schwannoma tumor. I was given no physical therapy or anything. Now my facial muscles are severely unbalanced from chewing only on my right side and my left eyelid is  not symmetrical. I saw several plastic surgeons for my eyelid and none would touch me because my eye is numb as well and it has given me tons of problems. Does anyone have any advice? My left side is almost completely numb except for the lower third but I can move all the muscles fine. I recently bought a jaw exerciser and have been chewing on it two times a day for a few mins, I can't tell if it is working yet.

You could consult with Jackie Diels. Hope you can find some improvement.
