Facial Twitches after surgery

I had my AN removed in March 2004 Sub-Occipitally, I am still having facial twitchs that are soooo annoying.   Now they have moved to my upper lip and it bugs me...   

Any insights as to how long these this will last... Is this a life issue...  Hoping not.
