Statement about the Center

The University of Virginia provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for patients with acoustic neuromas. Patients are evaluated by physicians and other trained medical specialists to determine the optimal treatment approach. We offer surgical resection via various approaches, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and image guided radiation therapy to treat patients. Our team of surgeons is dedicated to coming up with the right treatment plan individualized for each patient. Long-term follow-up of our patients is critical to insure successful outcomes.
