Statement about the Center
The UM/JMH Skull Base Center includes specialists from many disciplines anchored by members of the Departments of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery. All physicians participating in the skull base program are board certified in their respective specialties and have completed sub-specialty fellowship training focused on acoustic neuromas and skull base tumors. All physicians treating
acoustic neuroma patients maintain active practices in both surgery and radiosurgery (CyberKnife) to maintain their skills at the highest level of competency.
