Statement about the Center

Mayo Clinic is a multi-specialty institution with extensive experience counseling and treating patients with acoustic neuromas. Patients are initially evaluated by members of the departments of Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology, with access to Radiation Oncology, Audiology, Physical Therapy, Genetics and Ophthalmology. We evaluate more than 125 new patients a year with acoustic neuromas. We have an experienced microsurgical team and were one of the first institutions in the United States to install a Gamma Knife.
