In Memoriam - Willam F. House, MD
Dr. William House, who pioneered the cochlear implant that allows the deaf to hear, died December 7, 2012. Based on his innovative treatments of deafness, acoustic neuromas and tumors arising from the skull, he has often been referred to as the Father of Neurotology.
